Listen clearly
here they come
in tidy rows
marching slow.
Let's not keep it low
it's not a show
of shooting arrows
or a game of finding gold
in tree hollows.
Get out of your slumber
and hear the ground tremble
watch out, here they come
heed the signs
and get your defenses done.
It's the mid years!
