In the waiting room.

the wind shrilled hysterically
yet so miniscule and gently
in the small and little waiting room.

314 it marked,
and a piano stood silent in one corner
with the receptionist looking dull
sitting by a table on the other side
in the waiting toom.

She smiled (or did i magine it?)
and verified my identity
showed me my seat (she did not actually)
and told me to wait
in the waiting room.

Then came a boy
jumping in up and down
and in came a girl
swaying away to and fro
with a young lady smiling cheerfully
into the waiting room.

Probably for a ten or twenty
a young girl walked in
white skirt high heels
yet chubby and kinda snobbish
into the waiting room.

I fumbled with the chords
tried to play my scales
The boy and his company
sat by the piano
and their fingers danced their last practice
in the waiting room.

It was time for them to leave
the boy and the cute little girl
for their judgement of their skills
and there was a little tense
in the waiting room.

The plump girl walked up
ladylike and said
" hey ho la lo
listen yo'
to my concerto
in the waiting room"

There was a clash of the titans
where chords met
the tremendous burst of notes
and scales sang
with the magnificent pieces
in the waiting room.

The receptionist stood up
and iced the room with her silent look
and the fateful name flowed out.
Judgement day was here for me
and when i walked out
i threw a last glance into the waiting room.

I had my guitar test today. And i don't really think i had it smooth.

Plans for the Hols.

So it has finally come to a day where i can sit and do nothing all day long. And not give a damn to studying and worrying about it (for the time being). I just finished Narnia recently. Lewis is such a good writer he'd take you into the story. Well, depends on how attentive you are when you read it. I just watched Prince Caspian ( a reason why i'd want to finish all the chronicles ) and i find it good despite it's fairy tale like story plot. And then there's Aslan the lion, which keeps reminding me of Simba the lion king.
It does looks like Simba, doesn't it. After all, lions do look the same to me.

The hols are marching in through my life. Hear their trumpets blow. The joyous concerto which might be probably fused with some boring notes. So i have decided to fill the time in by watching all the movies below.
1) Sweeney Todd
2) Gabriel
3) Bee Movie
4) Amelie (courtesy of nigel)
5) Dr Seuss' Horton Hears a Who
6) Scary Movie
7) and anything that i might find interesting.

And then there's some books to buy.
1) The old man and the sea.
2) The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes.
3) and anything that i might find interesting.

Seems like i'd be having a heck of fun this hols reading and watching movies. =)

the boy and the candy

There was a boy
who saw a candy
in a stall by the sea.
He'd stare at it
for hours
and smile contentedly.
And on a fateful day
someone came
and bought it away.
The boy sighed
and strolled off
in melancholy.

Bless you all.

Listen carefully.

Do you hear it?
The cries and shouts
echoing in the air,
the water droplets of worriness,
streaming down the faces.

Look carefully.

Do you see it?
the people searching frantically
in the rubble
with threadlikes hopes
looking for a miracle.

Feel attentively.

Can you feel it?
The depression and the sorrow
for the sick and the buried
for the lost and the unfound
for the gone and the dead.

Pray for the victims of the quake.
May Lord Buddha bless their souls.

Today on that world.

How's today
on that very other world?
Is it merry
or gloomy
like over here?

Is it spring and summer there
when winter danced here?
Did the stars shine brighter
and the moon looked prettier
like the pale white flower?

People must be joyous
cheerful and grateful,
and they would sing
dance and drink
today on that world.

For there is a birthday
today on that world,
And there is only winter
that shrills through the sky
like every other day in this little world.

Happy Birthday. =)

of complains and blabla.

it's the mid years. and i am still going for DoTA almost everyday. i am officially broke. and my pockets are peni-less. and there is neither anticipation, excitement nor anxiety before every tests. maybe it's because i am getting numb of it. really. and i am so jealous about everyone who are older than me. they can start their driving lessons. and i am stuck to taking buses home everyday. is there anything that can excite me and make me feel anticipated?

ah. yes. my birthday.

Mid years here they come.

Listen clearly
here they come
in tidy rows
marching slow.

Let's not keep it low
it's not a show
of shooting arrows
or a game of finding gold
in tree hollows.

Get out of your slumber
and hear the ground tremble
watch out, here they come
heed the signs
and get your defenses done.

It's the mid years!
