I am participating in this year's Famine 30. Which makes me one of those people who have to go through 30 hours without eating or taking in solid food.

To those of you who don't know what the heck it is, this is what i got from the site.

The 30-Hour Famine is a global movement against hunger and poverty. Famine participants go without food for 30 hours and get a glimpse of the dire conditions that children and families in need endure everyday. They also raise funds, transforming their hunger into hope for children and families in need. The Famine aims to inspire and empower ordinary people to care for those in need, both locally and globally.

To be serious, i am really famished right now.

A friend of mine and i went out today, thinking that we could pass the day without eating. And we were planning to study as well, and we went to McDonald's to sit down and study. Eventually, my friend got a little hungry and ate. And he was actually convincing me to eat along.

Don't worry, i didn't. And that's something i am proud of.

I actually went into McDonald's and walked out of it 3 hours later with my stomach making noises. And I am actually proud of what i've done, and will be doing for the next 23 hours.

The death of the blue bird.

T'was a bird,
with feathers made out of the wood
and dipped in bright light blue.
It flew like the wind
in the silky skies made of thread so thin;
It sang the prettiest songs
mostly about the hamlets with the best corns.

And all the other birds will sing,

And this bird will puff it's chest,

For itself was a bird of vain,

So, one day it stood upon a tree,

And then the blue bird swanked,

And so it flew up and up through the clouds,
with its wings wide and taut,
correcting the crow's doubt.
It did a double somersault
and glided straight down
into the busy road of a hectic town.
It was not looking where it was going
and already too late to realize
that t'was a black huge machine
of four wheels and an engine,
the harbinger of doom,
which seemed to have suddenly loomed
over the fate of the bird
with feathers made of wood
and dipped in bright light blue.

Beijing Olympic 2008

It's the Olympic in an hour. Well, i am pretty concerned about how it is going to start off. And i am proud that it's held in China. At least my ancestors belonged there. Between, here's where the Olympic's going to be held.

Sick like a fickerdoodledum

Yep. I'm officially sick. Appetite-less as someone would say. And not in the mood to do anything much but worry about unnecessary things. Emo. Lol. ( mer, i am joining the emo club soon. =P)

I am infected by a worm. And it's making me feel queasy. Not to mention a little dizzy. Will need lots of rest i suppose. That's all for today.

And fickerdoodledum means nothing at all. Just to emphasize that i am fickerdoodledummedly sick.
